Manager, Specialist Sales

About the role

The Manager, Specialist Sales will lead Mastercard’s SME sales efforts in Saudi Arabia, reporting to the SME Cluster Lead. This individual contributor role focuses on driving growth of card and payment solutions for financial and non‑financial partners through a consultative, client‑focused approach.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop SME client opportunities, shape propositions and recommend card and payment solutions that support revenue and profitability.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline, conduct on‑site client engagements, needs assessments and solution positioning across financial institutions and partners.
• Originate new business, develop ecosystem plays and commercialize signed deals to achieve measurable revenue outcomes.
• Contribute to SME P&L objectives in Saudi Arabia and support regional sales priorities aligned with business goals.
• Identify product, proposition and innovation opportunities within SME payment segments.
• Act as a client‑facing consultant, collaborating with internal product and market teams to design and execute solutions.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of cards, commercial payments and issuing propositions with hands‑on sales experience in the SME segment.
• Proven track record in payments industry business development and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Consultative selling and advisory experience, including on‑site client interactions and solution design.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing and analytical skills with a results‑driven approach.
• Executive presence and strong communication, presentation and writing abilities.
