Manager - Technology Planning

About the role

The Technology Planning Manager will lead the IT planning function, ensuring it aligns with Red Sea Global’s strategic objectives and supports sustainable growth. This role translates business needs into structured IT plans that drive operational efficiency, informed decision‑making, and measurable business value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and advance the IT department’s planning function to match the organization’s future direction.
• Establish governance, performance‑management and visibility practices across the IT function.
• Partner with IT leadership and key stakeholders to meet evolving business needs and transformation agendas.
• Manage relationships with external suppliers, service providers and strategic partners to support IT priorities.
• Supervise preparation of planning reports, dashboards and performance updates for leadership.
• Coordinate planning activities, monitor timelines and ensure delivery of IT initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology‑related field (Engineering, Finance, Computer Science); Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering, finance, procurement or IT roles, preferably in a technology‑focused environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.

Required skills

• Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
