Managing Consultant – Delay

About the role

HKA is seeking a Managing Consultant specialising in delay matters to lead and deliver high‑quality commissions for public and private sector clients. You will work closely with senior team members, manage project delivery and build trusted client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate, clear technical outputs within your area of specialism.
• Manage commissions in line with HKA standards, ensuring commercial performance and client satisfaction.
• Develop your technical and consulting capabilities through continuous learning.
• Act as a reliable point of contact for clients, fostering long‑term trust.
• Support business development by contributing to bids, proposals and networking events.
• Identify and manage project risks, applying sound commercial judgement.
• Assist experts in formulating and testing opinions where required.

Required profile

• Relevant technical qualification (degree or equivalent); postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in consulting, dispute resolution or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality technical work and manage client relationships.
