MCX Solution Architect (Mission Critical Communications)

About the role

As an MCX Solution Architect you will lead the end‑to‑end design and deployment of mission‑critical communication platforms for enterprise and industrial environments. You will ensure high availability, low latency and secure interoperability across devices, networks and dispatch systems, shaping next‑generation connectivity for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Architect Mission Critical Services solutions (MCPTT, MCVideo, MCData) with QoS, priority, preemption and group communications.
• Create comprehensive solution blueprints covering access, transport, core, IMS/application layer, dispatch, recording systems and device ecosystems.
• Drive vendor selection, solution validation and deployment governance, including HLD/LLD documentation, integration planning, cut‑over strategies and acceptance testing.
• Define resilience architecture with geo‑redundancy, active‑active/active‑standby configurations, disaster‑recovery, backup/restore and observability frameworks.
• Establish security‑by‑design principles, encryption, identity and key management, and auditability for MCX services.
• Support test teams during ATP phases, defect qualification and FAT/SAT readiness.
• Lead technical workshops, translate operational requirements into technical designs and manage delivery backlogs.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience delivering mission‑critical platforms in MCX, PS‑LTE or similar environments.
• Hands‑on experience with vendors such as Hytera, Airbus, Motorola Solutions or TDTech.
• Strong knowledge of 3GPP Mission Critical Services, IMS, VoLTE/VoNR, QoS/QCI/5QI, policy control and session management.
• Proven ability to produce HLD/LLD documentation, test strategies and operational readiness artefacts.
• Experience managing multi‑vendor technical delivery programmes and leading stakeholder workshops.
