Mechanic Technician

About the role

The Mechanic Technician will ensure the reliable operation of all mechanical equipment and systems within the hotel. Working closely with the Engineering team, you will carry out inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs to support guest comfort and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of pumps, motors, valves, compressors, water systems and other mechanical equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest areas and hotel departments.
• Carry out corrective maintenance and repairs in a timely manner.
• Assist with installation, replacement, testing and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance, report abnormalities and support emergency maintenance situations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
• Support energy‑conservation and sustainability initiatives within the Engineering department.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Maintenance or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Mechanic Technician or in a similar mechanical maintenance role.
• Ability to work safely, follow hotel standards and comply with relevant regulations.
