About the role
The Mechanical Commissioning Engineer will lead mechanical commissioning and Mechanical Completion (MC) activities for hydrogen and ammonia projects, ensuring safe hand‑over of equipment and systems.
Key responsibilities
- Execute mechanical commissioning and MC tasks for rotating equipment and compressors.
- Commission hydrogen (H₂) compressors and both centrifugal and reciprocating compressors.
- Perform functional checks, system validation, and readiness verification.
- Lead walk‑downs, generate punch lists, and drive punch clearance.
- Troubleshoot issues during pre‑commissioning and commissioning phases.
- Ensure all mechanical systems are completed, tested, and safely handed over.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Commissioning or MC Engineer.
- Experience on green hydrogen or ammonia projects is highly preferred.
- Strong problem‑solving and site coordination abilities.
