Mechanical Engineer – Aviation Projects

About the role

Provide mechanical engineering design for aviation‑related facilities such as airport terminals, MRO hangars and control towers. The role covers all design phases from concept through construction and commissioning, ensuring compliance with local authorities, aviation requirements and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design HVAC, chilled water, ducting, FCU/AHU/fan systems and perform related calculations (pressure head, ESP, sizing).
• Develop smoke management and control sequencing, integrate with BMS and ensure codes and standards compliance.
• Obtain approvals, NOCs and permits from municipal, civil defence, Saudi Energy, and aviation authorities.
• Use BIM tools for coordination, clash detection and model management (Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC).

Required profile

• Saudi national with a minimum of 8 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience on KSA or GCC projects; aviation‑project experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and SCE professional‑grade certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, HAP/IES and BIM 360/ACC.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC design, chilled water systems, ductwork, smoke management and BMS integration.
