Mechanical Engineer – HVAC, TAB & Commissioning

About the role

CSI Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead on‑site mechanical activities across its MEP projects in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on testing, adjusting and balancing (TAB) of HVAC air and hydronic systems, as well as supporting testing and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing and fire‑protection installations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and supervise mechanical engineering tasks on‑site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and HSE standards.
• Perform TAB for HVAC air‑flow and water‑loop systems, interpret design balancing requirements and produce accurate TAB reports.
• Support testing and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing and fire‑protection systems, including performance verification, troubleshooting and optimisation.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications and technical submittals, coordinating with clients, consultants and project teams.
• Prepare commissioning documentation, inspection reports and technical submissions for project hand‑over.
• Assist with HVAC installation, preventive maintenance, system upgrades and Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–7 years of experience in MEP, HVAC, TAB and testing & commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, plumbing and fire‑protection systems.
• Experience using TAB instruments and interpreting airflow and hydronic balancing data.
• Excellent communication, technical reporting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Saudi Council of Engineers registration preferred and a valid Saudi driving licence advantageous.
