Mechanical Engineer – Jeddah

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Mechanical Engineer to join our Jeddah team at Dayim Equipment Rental. You will apply advanced mechanical engineering principles to design, analyse and improve our extensive rental fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyse and optimise equipment using mechanical engineering methods.
• Create detailed 3‑D models and simulations with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA or PTC Creo.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on the rental fleet.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to minimise equipment downtime.
• Coordinate with operations to schedule maintenance and prioritise repairs.
• Lead engineering projects ensuring timely delivery while meeting safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and report concerns to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (advanced degree a plus).
• 1–2 years of experience in heavy equipment or construction industry.
• SEC certification (mandatory).
• Strong safety‑first mindset and attention to detail.
• Saudi nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, PTC Creo.
• Ability to produce and manage technical documentation.
• Project management and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industrial standards.
