Mechanical Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join the maintenance team of a leading FMCG and beverage manufacturing plant in Madinah Industrial City. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of PET production lines and associated equipment to ensure reliable plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance on PET production lines and related equipment.
• Read manuals, blueprints, schematics and technical diagrams to support installation, repair and maintenance work.
• Respond quickly to mechanical breakdowns and service requests, diagnosing and rectifying faults using appropriate testing and measuring equipment.
• Install and replace hydraulic and pneumatic components, and support shaft and motor alignment activities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot pumps, compressors, chillers, RO systems, labelers and other plant equipment.
• Repair and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies and perform root‑cause analysis using structured techniques such as BDA and GSTD.
• Replace critical spare parts and troubleshoot blow‑molding equipment, including SIDEL and Krones machines.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and in accordance with operational standards.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technology.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance of PET production lines.
• Strong background in preventive maintenance and root‑cause analysis.
• Knowledge of blow‑molding systems, compressors, RO systems, labelers and PET line equipment.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems; experience with SIDEL or Krones machines is highly preferred.
• Excellent mechanical troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• High safety awareness and ability to work in an industrial environment.
