Medical Science Liaison Lead – Riyadh (Contract)

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Lead will be a field‑based Medical Affairs professional supporting disease diagnosis, diagnostic methods, and strategic initiatives across PTC Therapeutics’ portfolio in Saudi Arabia. The role involves building scientific relationships with key opinion leaders, clinicians, and academic institutions to promote early and accurate diagnosis.

Key responsibilities

• Represent PTC Therapeutics at national and regional medical meetings and symposia.
• Respond promptly to unsolicited requests for scientific information about PTC products and therapeutic areas.
• Identify and address regional diagnosis gaps through strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with the clinical science and diagnostics functions in a matrix organization to support early disease recognition.
• Provide market insights, business development feedback, and client perspectives to company management.

Required profile

• Strong clinical expertise in disease states relevant to PTC’s portfolio.
• Experience engaging with KOLs, clinicians, and academic centers.
• Ability to evaluate diagnostic gaps and develop innovative initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills for scientific discussions.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of disease diagnosis and differential diagnosis.
• Proficiency in scientific communication and presentation.
