Medical Value Lead – Oncology

About the role

Roche is seeking a Medical Value Lead for Oncology to act as a scientifically grounded partner within its customer engagement model. The role focuses on building deep relationships with external stakeholders, shaping medical strategy, and ensuring Roche remains a preferred partner across core disease areas.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and execute local medical strategy to communicate a differentiated value story across the asset lifecycle.
• Build peer‑to‑peer relationships with Top Academic Experts and healthcare professionals through non‑promotional scientific exchanges.
• Gather and analyze field‑based clinical insights, including patient perspectives, to inform disease strategy and gap analysis.
• Provide high‑quality medical education, lead scientific advisory boards, and support internal capability building.
• Partner with Clinical Operations and Regulatory teams on study site engagement, health authority exchanges, and trial feasibility.
• Serve as custodian of medical and competitor data, ensuring rigorous scientific standards and ethical handling of digital information.

Required profile

• Completed degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Natural Sciences (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent).
• Solid experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, or a related clinical role within a therapeutic domain.
• Strong communication skills with proven ability to engage in peer‑to‑peer scientific dialogue.
• Fluency in English and Arabic to effectively interact with local healthcare ecosystems.
