Member of Technical Staff – Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff to lead legal‑research initiatives for a global software leader. In this fully remote position you will translate complex regulatory requirements into technical solutions that guide product development and ensure compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law to support product decisions.
• Design and build frameworks or tools that automate legal‑research workflows.
• Partner with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed legal insights into design.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on technology solutions.
• Produce technical documentation and compliance guidelines for development teams.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
• Proven experience with regulatory analysis and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to convert legal concepts into clear technical requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and research skills.
