Member of Technical Staff – Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff focused on Legal Research to join a leading software development organization on a full‑time remote basis. The role blends deep legal expertise with technical problem‑solving to ensure that product teams build compliant, regulation‑aware solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law to guide product decisions.
• Design and implement technical frameworks and automation tools that streamline legal research workflows.
• Partner with engineering, product, and design teams to embed legal insights into feature specifications.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on current and future technology offerings.
• Produce clear technical documentation and compliance guidelines for use by cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
• Proven experience in regulatory analysis and compliance assessment.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into actionable technical requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
