MEP BIM Engineer

About the role

The Electrical BIM Engineer will join Kawkab Alfikr’s Riyadh office to develop and maintain detailed electrical BIM models for building and infrastructure projects. Working on‑site, you will collaborate with MEP, architectural and civil teams to ensure designs meet project standards and delivery timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Create, update and manage electrical BIM models using Revit and Navisworks.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with mechanical, plumbing and structural disciplines.
• Produce and revise construction drawings, sections and details at LOD 500.
• Validate model accuracy against electrical codes, standards and project specifications.
• Prepare documentation for design reviews and hand‑over stages.
• Support continuous improvement of BIM workflows and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) concepts.
• Understanding of civil engineering fundamentals and architectural integration.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and standards.
• Ability to work on‑site in a multidisciplinary environment.
