MEP Project Manager

About the role

Freyssinet Saudi Arabia (FSA), a leading general contractor established in 1978, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled MEP Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. The role involves planning, executing, and finalising all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of large‑scale construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all MEP‑related activities throughout the project lifecycle, from design and procurement to installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for all MEP works, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal engineering and construction teams to ensure seamless project integration.
• Oversee the preparation and review of MEP technical submittals, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Manage MEP project resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to optimise efficiency and control costs.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure adherence to quality standards, and enforce strict health and safety regulations.
• Identify, analyse, and resolve technical issues, providing expert guidance and innovative solutions to the project team.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports on MEP activities, highlighting key milestones, risks, and financial performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record as a Project Manager with extensive experience managing MEP systems for large‑scale building or civil infrastructure projects.
• In‑depth technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire‑fighting, and electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian building codes, technical standards, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project and standard office applications.
• Proactive, solutions‑oriented approach to problem‑solving.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is highly advantageous.
