MES Production Scheduling Lead

About the role

Givaudan is seeking an MES Production Scheduling Lead to drive the integration of its Manufacturing Execution System (MES) with production planning and resource scheduling processes. Reporting to the MES Business Owner, you will ensure that the MES supports accurate scheduling, capacity management, and continuous improvement across global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and implement improvements in detailed scheduling using Advanced Planning System (APS) tools.
• Validate and test scheduling functionalities within the APS to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Collaborate with production teams and the MES team to align system capabilities with real‑world manufacturing requirements.
• Provide data‑driven insights on resource allocation, lead times, and production constraints.
• Develop and maintain best‑practice templates for complex manufacturing environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or MES environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data insights into actionable improvements.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge gaps between production operators and digital systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for global project support.
