Mid‑Senior Banking & Finance Associate Lawyer – Riyadh (Saudi National)

About the role

The firm is seeking a Saudi national with 3–9 years of post‑qualification experience to join its Riyadh office as a mid‑senior Banking & Finance associate. You will work closely with senior partners on high‑profile financing transactions across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on conventional and Islamic finance structures, ensuring Shari'ah compliance.
• Draft and negotiate syndicated and bilateral loan agreements.
• Support corporate, acquisition, project, and real‑estate finance deals.
• Assist with refinancing, restructuring, and security documentation.
• Coordinate with lenders, borrowers, sponsors, and financial institutions on complex transactions.
• Provide legal input on cross‑border financing and client‑facing matters.

Required profile

• Saudi national with 3–9 years PQE in banking & finance law.
• Experience gained at a leading international or top‑tier regional law firm.
• Demonstrated ability to advise lenders, borrowers, sponsors, or financial institutions.
• Strong understanding of both conventional and Islamic financing mechanisms.
• Excellent client‑contact skills and readiness to take responsibility early.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of banking and finance legal frameworks.
• Familiarity with Islamic finance and Shari'ah‑compliant structures.
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing financing documentation.
