Mobile Engineer

About the role

Qahwa is building an operating system for modern coffee shops, unifying point‑of‑sale, inventory, accounting and reporting. As a Mobile Engineer you will help create the web and mobile experiences that enable café owners to run their businesses more efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain responsive, multilingual and accessible web and mobile interfaces.
• Implement offline‑capable workflows and data‑synchronisation mechanisms.
• Manage mobile releases, handle app‑store submissions and monitor post‑release performance.
• Integrate front‑end components with Qahwa’s platform APIs and backend services.
• Continuously improve application performance, reliability and usability.
• Support integration with hardware devices and peripheral equipment when required.

Required profile

• Strong experience in frontend development.
• Proven track record building and maintaining mobile applications.
• Experience shipping apps through iOS and Android app‑store review processes.
• Solid understanding of state management, offline workflows and data synchronization.
• Focus on user experience, product quality and accessibility.
• Experience with internationalisation, RTL language support and native mobile development.
• Background in integrating hardware devices or peripherals.
