Nurse Coordinator – Community Care (Mecca, Saudi Arabia)

About the role

The Nurse Coordinator provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the community and in‑patient support programs, helping them achieve optimal health and quality of life. Working under physician orders and Axios International policies, the role blends direct patient care with program management and reporting responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct telephonic follow‑up consultations and perform home visits for patient care.
• Monitor vital signs, blood glucose, cardiac status, and pain levels; provide education and support to patients and families.
• Administer medications, including injections, IVs, inhalations, oral, infusions, and rectal routes, and ensure proper pain‑management protocols.
• Perform wound assessments, dressing changes, and advanced foot care when needed.
• Prepare monthly monitoring reports, quarterly quality‑assurance reports, and maintain electronic patient files.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience.
• Licensed nurse recognized by the Saudi Ministry of Health and enrolled in the KSA nurses’ syndicate.
• Fluent English with strong clinical knowledge and direct patient‑care experience.

Required skills

• Medication administration (injections, IVs, inhalation, oral, infusions, rectal).
• Vital signs and blood glucose monitoring.
• Wound assessment and dressing changes.
• Advanced foot care (preferred).
• Cardiac assessments and pharmacovigilance reporting.
