Occupational Therapist – Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join Almoosa Health Group in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will work directly with patients to develop, recover, and maintain daily living and work skills, while collaborating with families and employers to ensure safe and effective environments.

Key responsibilities

• Help patients develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills.
• Aid patients in improving basic motor functions and reasoning abilities.
• Assist patients with activities ranging from computer use to dressing, cooking, and eating.
• Incorporate physical exercises to increase strength and dexterity.
• Use advanced modalities to improve decision‑making, abstract reasoning, problem solving, perceptual skills, memory, sequencing, and coordination.
• Instruct patients with permanent disabilities on the use of adaptive equipment such as wheelchairs and orthotics.
• Design or fabricate special equipment needed at home or work.
• Arrange employment, evaluate work environments, plan work activities, and assess progress, collaborating with patients and employers to modify workplaces.
• Assess homes, workplaces, or classrooms for hazards and recommend restorative or safety adaptations.
• Provide guidance to family members and caregivers on safe and effective care methods.
• Evaluate patient progress and prepare detailed reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy.
• Previous experience is a privilege (preferred).

• Ability to work under pressure.
