Offshore HSE Supervisor – Saudi Arabia

About the role

The Offshore HSE Supervisor will join Saipem’s HSEQ department within the Abser‑Offshore business line, supporting health, safety and environmental performance on offshore rigs, vessels and field sites in Saudi Arabia. You will ensure compliance with Saipem standards, client requirements and international regulations throughout all project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and continuously improve the site/field/vessel HSE Management System in line with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Provide expert advice to vessel management and on‑site personnel on HSE procedures and the implementation of Life‑Saving Rules.
• Coordinate with QHSE divisions, operating companies and project teams to guarantee compliance and support risk assessments and job safety analyses.
• Deliver HSE training, lead incident investigations and ensure accurate reporting of HSE data.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of HSE Officers, monitoring corrective actions and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant HSE discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as an HSE Officer in the oil & gas or related industrial sector.
• Proven ability to work offshore and on vessels, with strong knowledge of local Saudi regulations and Aramco standards.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
