OFR Operations Specialist – Jeddah

About the role

Join DHL Global Forwarding as an OFR Operations Specialist in Jeddah, supporting the Airfreight Gateway and ocean freight services for a global customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Build and develop trade lane consolidations for South African export traffic.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day operations within the Airfreight Gateway and support the ACC Manager in rate and capacity procurement.
• Implement OFR operations and customer service plans to deliver ocean freight services for internal and external customers.
• Analyze freight requirements, allocate line‑haul capacity and contribute to product planning for perishables, pharmaceuticals and aviation cargo.
• Identify opportunities to expand business with new clients and improve in‑house customer services.
• Maintain customer relationships, prepare shipment documentation and respond to pricing enquiries.
• Provide guidance to less experienced team members and resolve operational issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• More than 6 years of experience in ocean freight or logistics operations.
