On Road Vehicle Tester

About the role

The On Road Vehicle Tester will operate test vehicles on designated routes and test tracks according to a predefined shift schedule and test plan. You will assess vehicle features, monitor behavior, and report any technical issues to ensure reliable documentation of test results.

Key responsibilities

• Operate test vehicles on assigned routes and test tracks following the shift schedule and test plan.
• Understand and correctly use vehicle features such as driver assistance systems, infotainment, and comfort functions during test drives.
• Monitor vehicle behavior, note technical issues, unusual noises, warning signals, and communicate findings clearly.
• Provide accurate and timely feedback to the Test Drive Coordinator after each shift.
• Maintain safe driving practices in compliance with traffic laws and internal safety guidelines.
• Handle test vehicles, keys, and equipment responsibly, ensuring vehicle condition, cleanliness, and confidentiality.
• Report safety concerns, accidents, or vehicle malfunctions immediately to the coordinator.

Required profile

• Valid Saudi driving license with the legal right to drive in Saudi Arabia.
• High school certificate or equivalent; no specific formal qualification required.
• Basic to good command of English (spoken and written) and Arabic as first language.
• Prior driving or automotive‑related experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and discipline regarding shift attendance.
• Good observation skills and attention to detail.
• Physically fit to perform extended driving duties, including outdoor/proving‑ground conditions.
• Clean driving record and safe driving history.
