Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Operations Manager to lead and optimise end‑to‑end express delivery and hub operations. You will ensure seamless first‑mile, sorting, transportation and last‑mile processes while driving efficiency, safety compliance and KPI achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full logistics chain – pickup, sorting, transportation and last‑mile delivery – and monitor daily hub activities to meet SLAs.
• Plan and optimise delivery routes and driver dispatch schedules to minimise transit times and costs.
• Track and report operational metrics such as On‑Time Delivery, delivery success rate and cost‑per‑parcel.
• Lead and mentor supervisors, sorting staff, couriers and fleet personnel, handling manpower planning, shift schedules and peak‑season resourcing.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety policies and local labour/transport regulations, enforcing strict POD and parcel‑handling protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in express delivery, last‑mile logistics, e‑commerce operations or supply chain management.
• Proven track record of managing large operational teams and multi‑site hub operations.
• Fluency in English; Hindi/Urdu or Arabic is often preferred depending on the regional market.

• Proficiency with logistics management systems (WMS/TMS).
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Operational data analytics capabilities.
