Operations Manager – Retail

About the role

The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring operational excellence across Al Futtaim's store network. This role drives commercial performance, leads store teams and delivers a top‑tier customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales, profitability and productivity across all stores while monitoring key retail KPIs.
• Lead business reviews and recovery plans for under‑performing locations.
• Ensure consistent execution of operational standards, policies, health & safety and governance.
• Oversee stock management, inventory accuracy, replenishment and shrinkage control.
• Manage efficient rota planning and labour productivity.
• Champion customer service excellence and implement improvement initiatives.
• Lead, coach and develop Store Managers and field leadership teams.
• Support new store openings, relocations, pop‑ups and refurbishment projects.
• Manage operational budgets, cost controls and profit improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 5‑10+ years of retail management experience.
• Multi‑site retail leadership experience preferred.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with P&L ownership.
• Proven experience leading large teams across multiple locations.
