Operator Assistant I – Slickline

About the role

Halliburton is seeking an Operator Assistant I – Slickline to join its wireline and perforating team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This entry‑level position supports the delivery of slickline services at well sites, providing hands‑on experience in oil‑field operations and a clear pathway to become a Service Operator.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Supervisor throughout all phases of slickline operations.
• Prepare equipment for jobs – assemble, test and mobilize slickline tools and related products.
• Support the execution of slickline services on‑site, following written and verbal instructions.
• Participate in post‑job demobilisation, clean‑up and repair of service equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with peers and superiors.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate willing to learn Halliburton HSE policies and oil‑field terminology.
• Basic understanding of mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Reading and writing proficiency in English.
• Ability to work safely as part of a team in field conditions.
• Willingness to obtain any required driving licence for local operations.
