Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect

About the role

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect to lead the architecture of enterprise cloud environments. The role owns the architecture lifecycle from strategy and reference designs through governance, technical assurance and continuous optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Define target‑state OCI architectures aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements and technology roadmaps.
• Lead Architecture Review Boards, establish standards, reusable patterns and guardrails for OCI workloads.
• Design OCI landing zones, multitenancy models, networking (VCN, DRG, FastConnect) and security controls (Cloud Guard, Security Zones, IAM).
• Architect data platforms using Autonomous Database, Exadata Cloud Service, MySQL HeatWave and OCI Streaming.
• Guide large‑scale cloud migrations, including identity, networking, security foundations and database migration strategies.
• Design Kubernetes platforms on OKE, CI/CD pipelines with OCI DevOps, GitLab, ArgoCD and Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform.

Required profile

• 10+ years of enterprise IT experience, with at least 6 years in cloud architecture and 4 years working with OCI.
• Proven lead or principal architect on large‑scale OCI migration, greenfield or hybrid cloud programs.
• Expert knowledge of OCI services (Compute, Networking, Storage, IAM, Database, Security).
• Strong Terraform expertise with the OCI provider, including reusable modules and CI‑driven deployment.
• Deep experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Autonomous Database and Exadata Cloud Service.
