About the role

Nexttec Technology Outsourcing is looking for an experienced Oracle DBA/APPS DBA Consultant to manage and optimise Oracle databases and applications for its clients in Saudi Arabia. You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and deliver technical solutions that ensure high performance, reliability and security.

Key responsibilities

Manage and maintain Oracle databases and associated applications for multiple clients.
Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies, including Data Guard.
Perform database upgrades, patches and apply performance tuning techniques.
Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues and provide on‑call support for critical incidents.
Develop and maintain documentation, procedures and best‑practice guidelines.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience as an Oracle DBA/APPS DBA.
Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM and Data Guard.
Experience with Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS).
Excellent problem‑solving, communication and teamwork skills.
Oracle certifications (e.g., OCA, OCP) are a plus.
