Organizational Development Specialist

About the role

The Organizational Development Specialist will act as the company’s expert on organization structure, job design, description and evaluation, providing strategic advice to all line organisations. The role involves designing, maintaining and continuously improving the organisational framework to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain the company’s organisation structure, including hierarchies, job titles and reporting lines.
• Conduct organisational analyses to identify overlaps, duplications and inefficiencies.
• Assess the impact of structural changes on efficiency and individual roles.
• Develop and monitor organisation effectiveness metrics and coordinate data collection.
• Perform external benchmarking to support continuous improvement of design.
• Carry out detailed job analyses, create and update job descriptions for all positions.
• Execute job evaluation and grading using appropriate tools, maintain the evaluation system and support placement decisions.
• Participate in compensation surveys, map jobs and assist in developing job profiles.
• Develop technical and professional career ladders and collaborate with training functions.
• Liaise with external consultants on design, description or evaluation projects and coach HR staff.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of organisational design principles and job evaluation methodologies.
• Experience conducting organisational assessments and developing effectiveness metrics.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with line managers and external consultants.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
