OSP Area Manager

About the role

The OSP Area Manager is responsible for overseeing all Outside Plant (OSP) project activities within the assigned region, ensuring delivery aligns with client requirements, quality standards, budget, and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all OSP project activities across the assigned area/district.
• Ensure achievement of project milestones, delivery targets, and client KPIs.
• Manage district teams, subcontractors, supervisors, and field engineers.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, material availability, and equipment utilization.
• Coordinate with PMO, quality, procurement, and finance teams.
• Ensure compliance with client standards, safety requirements, and municipality regulations.
• Track revenue, cost, invoicing, and budget performance for the assigned area.
• Escalate risks, delays, and operational issues with mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Telecommunications/Electrical/Civil preferred).
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant OSP/Telecom project experience.
• At least 5 years in a managerial or area‑management role.
• Strong experience in FTTX civil and fiber deployment projects.

Required skills

• FTTX civil and fiber deployment expertise.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
