Packing Specialist

About the role

The Packing Specialist will lead the packing operations for finished customer products at the Tuwaiq Casting & Forging facility. Reporting to the Production Control Manager, this role ensures that goods are accurately packed, labeled, and prepared for shipment in line with company standards and customer requirements. The position also maintains a safe, organized, and productive packing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create work instructions and schedule packing activities to meet production and shipping deadlines.
• Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimise efficiency.
• Establish and uphold quality standards for packaging, labeling, and handling of finished goods.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate packing shop personnel, managing schedules and staffing levels.
• Manage inventory of packing materials, place orders, track usage, and minimise waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, conduct audits, and provide safety training.
• Identify and implement process improvements and evaluate new packing technologies.
• Communicate performance metrics to other departments and generate regular reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (field not specified).
• Relevant experience in packing operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to supervise, train, and motivate packing personnel.
• Strong organisational skills and awareness of safety and quality standards.
