Passenger Service Agent – Airport Customer Service

About the role

The Passenger Service Agent provides essential front‑line support to airline passengers at the MED Station, ensuring a smooth and pleasant travel experience from check‑in through boarding.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and clear check‑in counters before and after flights, ensuring all stationery and signage are in place.
• Welcome passengers at check‑in and other service touch‑points, verify travel documents and complete check‑in procedures.
• Manage boarding processes, make public address announcements, and assist passengers during delays, cancellations or diversions.
• Handle baggage processing, charge excess baggage fees, and support passengers with special needs such as unaccompanied minors, VIPs and wheelchair assistance.
• Coordinate gate activities, communicate with flight coordinators, and ensure accurate passenger counts and baggage information.
• Assist the ramp team with loading and unloading of wheelchairs, strollers and gate‑checked bags.
• Maintain compliance with Swissport and carrier SOPs, protect airline assets, and produce required documentation.

Required profile

• Saudi national with a high school diploma.
• Previous experience in customer‑facing airport or airline environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, numeracy and ability to follow procedures.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and in inclement weather.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with airline reservation and ticketing software.
• Ability to operate standard computer equipment and type efficiently.
