Pastry Sous Chef – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

As a Pastry Sous Chef at Red Sea Global Hospitality, you will support the Executive Pastry Chef in daily pastry operations at the AMAALA Destination. You will help ensure that every dessert, pastry, and baked good meets the high standards expected by luxury guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in managing daily pastry production and operations.
• Supervise, train, and mentor the pastry team, ensuring adherence to preparation, presentation, and service standards.
• Maintain timely production of pastry items while preserving consistency in quality and quantity.
• Manage inventory, control waste, and uphold strict cleanliness and organization in the pastry area.
• Develop new pastry creations in line with brand standards and guest expectations.
• Ensure all culinary activities comply with the brand’s excellence and sustainability goals.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant pastry experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene.
