Patient Relations Officer

About the role

The Patient Relations Officer is responsible for managing patient intake, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the healthcare team with scheduling and administrative tasks. This role ensures smooth front‑desk operations and timely communication with patients and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Open and maintain patient files, recording all required information accurately.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments, and register patients on arrival.
• Verify demographic and insurance details, and ensure all valid documents are scanned into the system.
• Answer phone calls at the reception and call‑center lines, directing callers to the appropriate department.
• Handle cash payments, prepare bills, and reconcile transactions for the Finance Coordinator.
• Notify healthcare team members of walk‑in patients and contact physicians to confirm duties and schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience for senior level or 0‑2 years for entry level in patient registration or appointment scheduling.
• Excellent oral and written English; Arabic is preferred.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
