Paymaster – Health Resort

About the role

The Paymaster will lead payroll operations for the new Amaala health resort, ensuring accurate processing, compliance with Saudi labour laws, and supporting the resort’s financial performance. This on‑site role combines payroll execution with strategic cost analysis in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll (≈60% of time), reviewing earnings, missed punches, manual timesheets, sick/holiday pay, and payroll anomalies.
• Integrate tips, commissions, service charges and prepare full payroll reports for audit compliance.
• Compile payroll packets for approval by HR Director, Director of Finance and General Manager.
• Maintain payroll checklists, SOPs and train new heads of department on payroll procedures.
• Post month‑end payroll journals, accrue payroll costs and reconcile related balance‑sheet accounts.
• Submit GOSI and WPS filings on time and ensure strict adherence to KSA payroll regulations.
• Produce labour analysis reports twice weekly, analyse leased labour effectiveness versus business volume and budget.
• Reconcile leased‑labour invoices with internal timesheets and attend month‑end P&L review meetings.
• Facilitate bi‑monthly labour meetings to discuss payroll spend elasticity and revenue impact.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years (36 months) of payroll processing experience, preferably in hospitality or large‑scale operations.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi labour and payroll regulations (GOSI, WPS).
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to produce clear financial commentary.
• Proven ability to train and support senior managers on payroll processes.
