Pharmacist – Retail Store Management (KSA)

About the role

The pharmacist will provide general healthcare advice, dispense prescription and non‑prescription medication, and oversee the retail pharmacy store to meet sales targets, customer satisfaction, and operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure store readiness by monitoring staff uniforms, name tags, temperature, and storage conditions.
• Process prescriptions, interpret physician orders, and counsel customers on dosage, storage, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Educate customers on proper use of home medical equipment such as glucose meters.
• Supervise and develop retail store staff through performance management, coaching, and training.
• Monitor sales performance and customer satisfaction, reporting results regularly.
• Handle cash register operations, payments, and reconciliations in coordination with Finance.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities based on customer needs.
• Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, inventory control, order processing, and promotion execution.
