Pharmacy Stock Controller

About the role

My Clinic is seeking a Pharmacy Stock Controller to manage inventory of medical and non‑medical supplies, equipment, and consumables across its outpatient facilities. The role ensures compliance with healthcare industry best practices and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate records in the ERP system.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels of pharmacy and clinic supplies.
• Receive, inspect, and distribute incoming deliveries, verifying quantity, quality, and condition against purchase orders.
• Submit invoices and Goods Received Notes (GRN) to finance and archive documents in the SCM Share Folder.
• Conduct daily cycle counts, periodic stock‑takes, and regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies.
• Implement FIFO rotation, proper storage practices, and efficient categorisation of items.
• Enter and update stock data, item descriptions, and coding standards in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with quality assurance, receiving, storage, and distribution teams to address quality or safety concerns.
• Oversee tagging, boxing, labeling, and temperature monitoring of refrigerated items.
• Utilise inventory management software to analyse usage patterns and forecast future needs.

Required profile

• Experience with inventory control processes in a healthcare or pharmacy environment.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices for medical supplies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate reconciliations.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑department collaboration.
