Pipe Fabricator

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Pipe Fabricator to join our technical team. The successful candidate will work on the selection, measurement, cutting, threading, bending, and assembly of piping systems and structural components, following strict isometric blueprints and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret advanced isometric drawings, piping layouts, blueprints, and weld maps to determine dimensions and material needs.
• Measure, mark, layout, and fit pipes and components precisely to meet project tolerances before welding.
• Operate industrial tools such as torches, plasma cutters, saws, beveling machines, and grinders for cutting, threading, grooving, and beveling.
• Handle a variety of piping materials safely, including carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and galvanized pipes.
• Perform tack‑welding to temporarily hold pieces in position prior to final welding.
• Conduct quality self‑checks using calipers, gauges, and tape measures while adhering to LOTO protocols and PPE requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum High School Diploma, Technical School Certificate, or ITI credential in Pipe Fabrication or related trades.
• At least 5 years of verifiable experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, or heavy industrial construction.
• Basic command of English for reading technical instructions.

Required skills

• Blueprint and isometric drawing interpretation.
• Operation of pipe cutting tools (torch, plasma cutter, saw).
• Threading, bending, and beveling of piping.
• Tack‑welding and final welding preparation.
• Use of measurement instruments (calipers, gauges, tape measures).
• Knowledge of ASME/ANSI piping codes and welding symbols.
• Material handling of carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and galvanized pipes.
• Application of LOTO safety procedures and PPE compliance.
