PMO Lead – Planning, Performance & Transformation

About the role

Act as the Operational General Manager’s single point of control for planning, performance and transformation at Botanica. The role owns the integrated business plan, KPI scorecard, risk register and the portfolio of strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth and capability development.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the annual business plan and budget, consolidate an integrated plan and maintain planning assumptions.
• Run the portfolio of strategic initiatives with clear governance, stage‑gates and benefit tracking.
• Lead monthly business unit reviews, highlight under‑performing streams and drive recovery actions.
• Manage the sales and operations planning (S&OP) cycle, aligning demand, supply, capacity, cost and cash.
• Design and cascade the KPI framework, produce performance packs and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Track cost versus plan, analyse variances, maintain profitability forecasts and control costs.
• Maintain the risk register, RAID log and prepare board and executive presentation packs.
• Lead the Planning & Performance and Control sections, building capability across nine team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or Finance; PMP, PgMP or MSP certification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in planning, project controls or PMO roles, with at least 5 years leading a PMO.
• Proven track record in business planning, performance management and transformation programmes within multi‑business‑unit organisations.

Required skills

• Programme governance and stage‑gate management.
• Scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Financial modelling, variance analysis and KPI design.
• Data visualisation and reporting using Excel and Power BI (or equivalent).
• Executive reporting and facilitation; fluent English (Arabic preferred).
