Policy Governance Senior Manager

About the role

The Policy Governance Senior Manager will lead the end‑to‑end review and governance of the bank’s policy framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and the institution’s Delegation of Authority. Based in Riyadh, the role collaborates with compliance, risk owners and executive stakeholders to translate policies into practice and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive review of policy structures, ensuring consistency, reducing duplication and aligning with regulatory standards and the bank’s Delegation of Authority.
• Manage the full policy lifecycle – from drafting, approval, sign‑off, tracking cycles, publication to regulatory correspondence.
• Coordinate policy implementation with stakeholders, validate execution, and conduct health checks to assess alignment and effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain policy standards, frameworks, templates and internal review guidelines in line with global best practices.
• Perform gap and overlap analysis, regulatory‑to‑policy mapping and act as the central authority on regulatory interpretation.
• Oversee policy effectiveness reviews, reporting outcomes to Executive Management and Board Committees.
• Maintain a centralized policy repository with version control, archiving and dissemination across platforms.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience managing policies and procedures within a complex organization.
• Strong governance mindset with deep understanding of governance frameworks, legal considerations and control functions.
• Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills, able to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
• High ethical standards, integrity and accountability in decision‑making.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to drive change in a dynamic environment.
