Pool Technician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

The Pool Technician provides essential maintenance and repair services for guest areas, ensuring pool and related facilities operate safely and efficiently within a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance on pool and related equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration and landscaping sprinklers.
• Carry out surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repairs, and ensure thorough cleanup after work.
• Use lockout/tagout procedures, maintain inventory, and communicate shift activities to the team.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance, preferably in hotel engineering or similar environment.
• Valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Plumbing repairs (toilets, drains).
• Carpentry, painting and drywall repair.
• Lockout/Tagout safety procedures.
• Basic computer skills for HVAC scheduling.
