Power+ Trainee - STEM Graduate Programme

About the role

Hitachi Energy's STEM Global Power+ Graduate Programme is its flagship early-career rotational programme, covering 13 countries and open to high-potential graduates. It consists of three six-month rotations (18 months in total), each in a different business segment, with the first rotation available in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh, Dammam or Jeddah); later rotations may be abroad depending on the project and opportunities. The programme starts on 1 November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in featured assignments such as quality engineering, software engineering, consulting, sales, manufacturing operations, project engineering, project management and R&D.
• Drive innovation and be customer and society focused.
• Act as the People Champion of the programme.
• Cultivate a diversity, equity and inclusion mindset in daily work.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a STEM-related discipline (e.g. electrical, mechanical, software, industrial or energy systems engineering).
• Local citizen of Saudi Arabia.
• No more than 0-2 years of professional experience by the start date.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong leadership potential, quick learner, team player and intercultural sensitivity.
