Principal Accountant Lead (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

The Principal Accountant Lead will join BMC Helix’s EMEA finance organization, acting as the finance lead for the Saudi Arabia Regional Headquarters. This senior position supports the RHQ team with strategic financial guidance, ensuring robust, compliant, and growth‑focused financial management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly and quarterly U.S. GAAP close process for assigned EMEA entities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to corporate deadlines.
• Oversee local statutory accounting, reporting, and compliance activities across the MENA region.
• Provide budgeting, expense management, forecasting, and financial performance review for the Saudi Arabia RHQ.
• Deliver operational and financial reporting, offering insights that influence key business decisions.
• Act as a trusted financial advisor to the RHQ leadership, aligning financial strategies with business objectives.
• Maintain internal control requirements and support regional compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in accounting and finance, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and local statutory accounting standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead finance teams and manage complex reporting cycles.
• Willingness to comply with Saudization guidelines and contribute to building Saudi talent.
