Principal Consultant - Procurement (KSA National)

About the role

Turner & Townsend is looking for a Principal Consultant - Procurement (KSA National) to join its Contract Services Team at the client project office in Riyadh, KSA. The team covers procurement and contracting strategy, claims management and dispute resolution services, and delivers strategic procurement and contract advice to large brands and major programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients.
• Manage and collaborate with a team on end-to-end procurement services for major projects or programmes.
• Support the development of the procurement services offered by T&T.
• Support business development and marketing of the Contract Services team's service proposition.
• Support team and wider business targets.
• Support bid preparation, proposal documentation and the work-winning capability of the team.

Required profile

• Preferred degree in construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law or procurement.
• MCIPS or a master's in strategic procurement.
• Experience leading and/or supporting projects in a strategic procurement environment.
• Proven experience procuring construction packages.
• Strong background in tender preparation and document development, including design and process documentation.
• Experience leading supplier engagement activities, from market engagement to contract award.
• Experience using standard form contracts, developing terms, negotiating and awarding.
