Principal Process Design Engineer (Waste Treatment & Management)

About the role

Worley Parsons is seeking a Principal Process Design Engineer to lead waste treatment and management initiatives across Saudi Arabia. As a subject‑matter expert, you will guide multidisciplinary teams in designing, optimizing, and implementing waste treatment technologies for both hazardous and non‑hazardous streams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical direction to engineering teams for customized waste treatment, recycling, and disposal solutions.
• Develop Basis of Design, heat & mass balances, PFDs, P&IDs, specifications, and control philosophies for waste treatment units.
• Participate in safety reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL) and ensure closure of recommendations.
• Review vendor proposals, issue technical bid clarifications, and validate waste characterisation data.
• Ensure compliance with USEPA, ISO, and local environmental regulations.
• Manage projects from concept through detailed engineering, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder coordination.
