PRO and Government Relations Officer (Saudi Nationals)

About the role

Mazrui International is hiring a Public Relations (PRO) and Government Relations Officer in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role manages government relations, immigration, labour, licensing, traffic and employee-related matters, coordinating with HR, Administration and Operations and with relevant KSA authorities. It is open only to Saudi nationals.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up transactions with government authorities, ministries, municipalities, labour authorities, traffic departments, customs, police, embassies and other regulators, and represent the company before them.
• Support the Administration team with government and public relations matters and maintain working relationships with government offices.
• Coordinate with HR service partners on residency, immigration and documentation for new and existing employees, and process employee documents with authorities.
• Handle renewal of company licenses and registrations with Customs, Environment and Traffic authorities, and renew truck and vehicle registrations.
• Arrange authorization certificates and documentation for drivers on cross-border assignments.
• Act as liaison between Operations, HR and Administration and government authorities, coordinate submission of official documents, and keep records of permits, licenses and transactions.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in a Government Relations, PRO or General Representative role.
• Practical experience with KSA government bodies, labour/immigration matters, employee documentation and company licensing is preferred.
• Very good Arabic, and a working knowledge of English is preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of KSA Labour Law, immigration requirements and government procedures.
• Good computer literacy and ability to maintain administrative records.
• Strong organization, follow-up and relationship-management skills.
