Procurement Business Partner

About the role

The Procurement Business Partner acts as a strategic advisor to local business stakeholders, linking global procurement strategies with day‑to‑day delivery. This role ensures high‑quality service for end‑users while driving alignment between external markets, corporate policies and local execution.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the "voice of Procurement" to the business and vice‑versa, representing procurement interests locally.
• Provide local input to global category and supplier strategy development.
• Act as primary contact for business customers, identifying opportunities, promoting solutions and encouraging compliance with procurement tools and processes.
• Support annual planning and target setting through data insights and analytics.
• Identify and support continuous‑improvement initiatives, including new processes and technologies.
• Collaborate with global and regional teams to implement category initiatives at the local level.
• Assist supplier management, develop innovation programs and mitigate strategic supplier risk.
• Support corporate social responsibility initiatives such as supplier diversity and anti‑bribery compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of local business activities and procurement spend management.
• Excellent analytical, planning and prioritisation skills.
