Procurement Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

HanmiGlobal MENA is looking for a Procurement Engineer to support a large‑scale land and infrastructure development programme in Riyadh. The role involves coordinating, tracking and reporting procurement activities to ensure alignment with project schedules, technical specifications and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Review procurement plans, schedules and sourcing activities submitted by lead developers for compliance with approved milestones.
• Monitor progress of long‑lead items, equipment and specialist systems, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
• Maintain procurement registers, tracking logs and performance databases, and prepare dashboards and KPI reports for senior management.
• Coordinate with planning, technical, commercial and project controls teams to ensure integrated procurement execution across all packages.
• Support the development of mitigation and recovery plans for critical procurement activities and participate in audits and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management or a related field.
• At least ten years of experience in procurement or supply‑chain management for major infrastructure or urban development projects, preferably in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
• Experience working within PMCM, PMC, consultancy, developer or contractor environments.
