Procurement Engineer

About the role

Baseel United is seeking a detail‑oriented Procurement Engineer to join its Technical Procurement Department in Riyadh. You will support all engineering‑related purchasing activities, ensuring that materials meet technical standards, budget limits, and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Review project drawings, BOQs and specifications to prepare accurate material take‑offs (MTOs).
• Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets to evaluate supplier compliance.
• Issue RFQs, negotiate pricing, delivery terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with the Quality Department on material submittals and with site teams to guarantee timely deliveries.
• Maintain the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and identify new qualified vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in engineering procurement within the construction/contracting sector.
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
